What should I bring?

Shade is very limited. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hats and dress appropriately for the weather.

Is there a bathroom?

The Ruddy Duck has a head (boat toilet.)  Guests should use the facilities at the dock prior to departure.  The head on the Ruddy Duck is clean, but rather small and not as robust as household toilets.

Do we sail in bad weather?

Adverse weather conditions occur from time to time. Dress appropriately. If the captain feels that the weather conditions are unsafe, the trip will be canceled and rebooked for another day.

Will I need to climb or jump?

Captain Marc will assist in vessel boarding. Visitors that wish to use the head will need to descend a few companionway stairs either alone or with help when going below.  Contact Captain Marc to discuss your specific needs prior to booking a trip.
